Storm Restoration

Many homes and businesses have been adversely affected by Hurricane Sandy and other superstorms.

We are also residents of one of the worst affected areas of the storm and have compassion for those whose lives have been so adversely affected.

As with any emergency, we jumped to task – putting together storm restoration crews and teaming up with other agencies while managing the rebuilding of our client’s homes and assisting many other homeowners who chose to become BGC’s clients.

Having successfully completed a large 80 unit co-op residence before many others had even begun to rebuild, praise for BGC came from both President and Vice President of the co-op board for our efficiency and coming in “under budget.”

Getting people back in their homes after the Sandy storm was not limited to only those with means – we believe in a community generosity as evidenced by our “pro bono” services for those who were financially disadvantaged or weren’t covered by insurance.

One of these rebuilds led to Ben’s General Contracting Corp. being featured on an episode of NBC’s ” George to the Rescue,” a reality based tv show focusing on helping others rebuild their homes.

BGC’s Project Development has also assisted many – solving the complex navigation of the insurance coverage process to help ensure clients received all of the funding their policy entitled them to.
